Eligibility criteria for APEDA registration

To be eligible for APEDA registration, an entity should fulfill the following criteria:

  • The entity should be involved in the production, processing, or packaging of scheduled products for export.

  • The entity should have a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by the Income Tax Department.

  • The entity should have a valid Import-Export Code (IEC) issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).

  • The entity should have a bank account in India.

Documents required for APEDA registration

The following documents are required for APEDA registration:

  • Application form in the prescribed format.

  • Copy of Import-Export Code (IEC) issued by the DGFT.

  • Copy of the PAN card.

  • Bank certificate or cancelled cheque.

  • Certificate of incorporation (in case of a company).

  • Partnership deed (in case of a partnership firm).

  • Proprietorship declaration (in case of a sole proprietorship).

  • Fill the application form in the prescribed format.

  • Attach the required documents.

  • Submit the application form along with the requisite fee.
